A very cute looking ganesh's idol, very subtle colors used on it.
The very peculiar thing about this idol was that the Garland around the idol was made using 1 Lakh (100,000) cotton wicks used in every hindu household to light the deep or deeya (earthen lamp). Admire the cotton wicks garland made with 100,000 cotton wicks in the picture below. The garland has been zoomed in to provide a better visibility.
